Doris Schlagel, CMT

     was born, raised and educated in Germany.

    Since she was first licensed as a massage Therapist in 1992, she has continued her somatic therapies in Reiki, Ortho-Bionomy®, Trauma Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy and Myofascial Release. 

    Her passion, working with the pain body, has lead to her specialty, Ortho-Bionomy; a gentle, non-invasive, form of body therapy based on osteopathy, which is highly effective in working with chronic stress, injuries and pain or problems associated with postural and structural imbalances.

Doris has been very effective in treating individuals with musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction as well as helping people cope with the physical and emotional effects of diseases such as Cancer, MS, Lupus, and Parkinson's.

My life philosophy very much drives my work: "As we evolve spiritually and emotionally our physical being changes as well. Continuous, conscious exploration on all levels of our existence results in balance and an expression of ourselves reflecting the whole not only of our self, but the entire universe".
